The Winchcombe is a humor strip written in the style of a mockumentary as used in films like This Is Spinal Tap or Best in Show and television shows like The Office and Modern Family.

More than just a three-panel then punchline kind of strip, The Winchcombe is a very character-driven story with interweaving plot lines that build on each other in such a way that it rewards rereading in larger chunks or in book form (hint-hint) .

A Cast Interviews section is being edited together as we speak, which will show snippets of interviews with cast members as they talk about the things that are important in their lives or have driven them to make the decisions they’ve made, both on camera and off.

But if you’d rather just jump in and start reading, Chapter One, A Brief History starts things out with a short Ken Burns-style retrospective of The Winchcombe and its storied past.

From there, you’ll meet current owner, Henry Decker and follow him through the process of hiring the staff.
